IIF may use technology, including algorithmic or AI-assisted tools, to help identify potential alignment between members, investors, funds, companies and opportunities.

Such tools may consider information including investment mandate, sector, geography, stage, ticket size, financing requirements and other profile information.

Matching results are intended to support discovery and facilitation. They do not constitute investment advice, a recommendation or a guarantee of suitability or transaction completion.

5. Sharing of Information

We may share relevant information with: other verified IIF members where necessary to facilitate an authorised connection; counterparties participating in a relevant transaction; technology and cloud-service providers; identity and verification providers; payment and financial infrastructure providers; legal, accounting, compliance and professional advisers; regulators, government authorities or law-enforcement agencies where legally required; and service providers acting on our instructions.

We do not authorise third parties to use your personal information for purposes incompatible with the purpose for which it was provided.

IIF is a global platform and may process or store information in countries other than your country of residence.

Where personal information is transferred internationally, IIF will take reasonable steps to ensure that applicable legal requirements and appropriate safeguards are observed.

Information submitted to a private IIF deal room may be made available to authorised participants in the relevant transaction or opportunity.

Members should not upload information unless they are authorised to disclose it.

IIF may use cookies and similar technologies to: operate essential Platform functions; remember preferences; authenticate users; understand Platform usage; improve performance; analyse traffic; and support security.
